Summary of STOP Zebra mussel operations, 2024 Espace
Efforts to control the zebra mussel population in Lake Massawippi showed a decrease compared to the previous year. Results from a third consecutive year of data collection indicate the rate at which zebra mussels can colonize the lake if control efforts are not maintained.
Lake water quality assessment (2020-2024)
Each year, Bleu Massawippi samples the lake’s water to assess its quality based on various parameters and to ensure year-to-year monitoring. This report provides a detailed overview of the changes observed in the lake’s water quality over a five-year period. This physicochemical monitoring yields valuable data on several key parameters.
