PRO TomifEAUbia

PRO TomifEAUbia has made great strides in recent months. Our project to green the Tomifobia River's riparian buffer strips has progressed thanks to 20 riparian property owners in the Hatley area. They not only made it possible, but also contributed to the planting of over 2,400 trees and shrubs with the help of 3 local volunteer schools. In summer 2023, a 90% survival rate (after 1 year) led to the replacement of 153 plants. A final count will take place in summer 2024, to assess the longer-term viability of this measure and its potential impact on the health of one of our region's most important rivers.
