Bleu Massawippi (legal name: L’Association pour la protection du lac Massawippi) operates this website. We take the protection of your personal information seriously.

What personal information we collect

Depending on how you use our website, we may collect:

• When you contact us (contact form): your name, email address, and the content of your message.

• When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address (and any other field you choose to provide).

• When you donate, become a member, or shop: the transaction is processed through Zeffy. We then receive the information needed to manage your donation/membership/purchase and, when applicable, issue a receipt.

What we use it for

We use this information to:

• respond to you;

• manage our newsletter (sending and unsubscribing);

• administer donations, memberships, and purchases (confirmation, receipts, follow-up);

• maintain security and meet our legal obligations.

We limit access to this information to those who need it, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for these purposes (and as required by law), then we destroy or anonymize it.

Our service providers (Squarespace and Zeffy)

Our website and forms are hosted on Squarespace. Donations, memberships, and our shop are processed through Zeffy. These providers may process personal information outside Quebec. We do not sell your personal information.

Performance tracking (UTM links)

When we share links to our donation/membership pages, we may add small parameters (UTMs) to better understand what works in our communications (e.g., "newsletter" vs "Facebook").
